Introduction
NBApps ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Daily Horoscope & Numerology mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our App.
Information Storage and Processing
Local Data Processing
All astrological and numerological calculations are performed directly on your device using:
- Swiss Ephemeris library (professionally licensed) for astrological calculations
- Internal numerology library for numerological calculations
Your personal information (full name, gender, birth date, birth location, birth city) is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party.
Data Storage
Your data is stored using:
- CoreData: Local storage on your device
- iCloud CloudKit: Synchronization between your personal Apple devices
Your personal data stored in iCloud is encrypted by Apple and remains under your control. We do not have access to your iCloud data.
AI-Generated Readings
The App generates personalized horoscope and numerology readings using Google Gemini AI through Firebase AI. Here's how this works:
- Astrological and numerological calculations are performed locally on your device
- Only the results of these calculations (not your personal information) are sent to Google Gemini AI
- Your name is used for personalization, but this personalization happens locally on your device
- Your name, birth date, birth location, and other personal details are never sent to the AI service
- We use Firebase AI monitoring to ensure quality and performance of AI-generated content, without any user identifiers
Firebase Services
The App uses the following Firebase services:
Firebase Analytics
We collect anonymous usage data to improve the App, including:
- App opens and session duration
- Feature interactions and usage patterns
- Device type and operating system version
We do not use IDFA (Identifier for Advertisers) or any personal identifiers. All analytics data is anonymous.
Firebase Crashlytics
We collect crash reports to identify and fix technical issues. This includes:
- Device model and OS version
- Crash logs and stack traces
- Anonymous identifiers
No personal information is included in crash reports.
Firebase App Check
App Check is used to protect our Firebase AI and Firestore services from abuse and ensure requests come from legitimate instances of our App. It does not collect any personal data.
Firebase AI (Gemini)
As described above, only calculation results are sent to generate your readings. Your personal information stays on your device. We use Firebase AI monitoring to track performance and quality metrics without identifying individual users.
Cloud Firestore
Firebase Firestore is used to store anonymous usage logs for app analytics and performance monitoring. These logs do not contain any personal user information and are not linked to individual users.
No User Accounts or Authentication
The App does not require account creation, email addresses, or any authentication. You can use the App completely anonymously.
Third-Party Data Sharing
We do not share your data with any third parties except as described below:
- Google/Firebase: Anonymous analytics, crash reports, and calculation results for AI readings (as described above)
- Apple: Your encrypted data in your personal iCloud account (managed by you)
We do not sell or rent your data to anyone.
Advertising
The App does not display any advertisements or use any advertising services.
In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
The App offers a freemium model with optional subscriptions managed entirely by Apple through StoreKit 2. We do not collect or store any payment information. All transactions are processed by Apple according to their privacy policy and terms.
Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has used the App, please contact us at hello@nbapps.fr.
Your Data Rights
Data Access and Control
Since all your data is stored locally on your device and in your personal iCloud account:
- You have full control over your data at all times
- You can access all your data through the App
- Your data is automatically synchronized across your devices via iCloud
Data Deletion
To delete your data:
- Delete the App from your device to remove local data
- Data in your iCloud account will persist and be restored if you reinstall the App
- To permanently delete iCloud data, you must manage this through your iCloud settings
GDPR and Privacy Rights
As your data is stored exclusively on your devices and personal iCloud account (not on our servers), you exercise your rights directly through your device and iCloud settings. We do not have access to or control over your personal data.
Data Security
We implement security measures including:
- Local processing of all personal information
- Encryption of personal data in iCloud
- Firebase App Check to prevent unauthorized access
- No transmission of personal data to external servers
Your data security also benefits from Apple's security measures for iOS devices and iCloud.
International Data Transfers
The App is operated from France. Anonymous analytics and crash data may be processed by Google/Firebase servers in various locations. Calculation results sent to Google Gemini AI may be processed in Google's global infrastructure. No personal information is transferred internationally.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:
- Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
- Providing an in-app notification for significant changes
Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
